I joined IKO Polymeric in January 2016 as a Customer Service Advisor for the UK.
When I decided to join a company who manufacture Single Ply roofing products, which I knew very little about at the time, I never imagined I would enjoy my role so much – this is purely down to the company values, the family working environment and the continuous support given.
I feel proud to be part of a company where continuous growth and results are evident through the progression of colleagues who you can also class as friends.
As result of rapid growth, in October 2017 I took on the responsibility of dealing with our export customers. This was a challenging but exciting opportunity which allowed me to learn something new every day.
Building approachable and healthy working relationships with our customers and ensuring we do our utmost to fulfill their requirements is my main priority, as they are the reason we do what we do.
At IKO Polymeric I didn’t just gain a job; I have gained a truly exciting career with huge prospects – I say that now as Export Account Executive.
To have the opportunity to travel in and around Europe representing IKO, our people, and our range of products and services is something I could have only imagined.
It is great to be responsible for the account management of so many of our new and long term customers who trust and rely on us daily.
